QALA-I-NAW (Pajhwok): Two rival tribes have reconciled in the Ab Kamari district of northern Badghis province following mediation of members of the provincial High Peace Committee and the Provincial Council.
Mohammad Nasir Nazari, the provincial council head, told Pajhwok Afghan News the two tribes ---- Daizangi and Barnaqri – had been engaged in a long-running conflict over ownership of pistachio forests. The conflict had left dead and wounded about 10 persons on both sides.
