KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): Work on putting down a 33-kilometre optic-fiber cable between the provincial capital and Ghulam Khan dry port was launched on Thursday in southeastern Khost province.
The optic-fiber cable would be extended to the port near the Pakistan Bank (WB), Khost Governor Hukam Khan Habibi told Pajhwok Afghan News.
About the cable running to Pakistan, Habibi said “the project is very important for Afghanistan as it would improve internet services here.”
