JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Hundreds of people on Wednesday took to the streets in the capital of eastern Nangarhar province, asking the government to remove “infective security bosses and re-launch a military operation in the Shinwari zone.
The protestors, who marched from the provincial council office to the Pashtunistan square in Jalalabad, asked the government to explain landing of unknown helicopters in Sara Rud district.
Led by provincial council members, the demonstrators chanted anti-Pakistan and pro-Afghan security forces slogans.
