KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghan police have prevented four terrorist attacks in central Maidan Wardak, Parwan and northwestern Badghis provinces, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) claimed on Wednesday.
A statement from the ministry the militants wanted to carry out terrorist attacks in the provinces but security officials foiled their attempts. Police recovered rockets ready for a launch and two mines in Maidan and Badghis.
Separately, a possible terrorist attack was foiled in Parwan, where a 24-kilogrambag of explosives was recovered, the MoI said.
