PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Three Afghan National Army soldiers were killed and a fourth injured on Sunday when a helicopter they were traveling in crash-landed in central Logar province, an official said.
The Afghan National Army (ANA)’s helicopter went down in Mohammad Agha district at around 1pm during a training flight due to technical failures, provincial crime branch chief, Lt. Col. Mohammad Jan Abid, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Three ANA soldiers onboard the MI-17c were killed and a fourth sustained injuries in the mishap that occurred in Shikar Qala area, he said.
The ANA 303rd special unit is stationed in the remote part of the Mohmmad Agha district.
