PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): A Pakhtun nationalist political group has regretted the loss of thousands of lives in Afghanistan during the ongoing war on terrorism.
Asfandyar Wali Khan, Awami National Party president, asked the Pakistan government to pursue a neutral foreign policy instead of making the country part of any coalition against terrorism.
In a press statement, he said the country had risked its security by joining the US-led war on terrorism, which had claimed thousands of lives in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
