PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Six Afghans have been detained on charges of possessing fake computerised national identity cards (CNICs) in northwestern Pakistan, a newspaper reported on Monday.
The arrests were made in the Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Sunday, the Express Tribune quoted a police official as saying.
Station House Officer (SHO) Gul Hameed Khan told the daily some local individuals had helped the detainees in getting the CNICs through fraudulent means.
