KABUL (Pajhwok): President Ashraf Ghani on Tuesday directed the security personnel to try their level best to ensure the protection of journalists, his office said.
Ghani issued the directives during a meeting with leaders and employees of Tolo TV, Tolo News and Kabura Production at the Presidential Palace in the morning.
He saidmedia was free and the government was responsible for providing it security to uphold the freed of expression, according to a statement from the president’s office.
