ASADABAD (Pajhwok): A convoy of vehicles carrying the governor and other senior officials came under attack in eastern Kunar province on Wednesday, but there were no casualties.
The convoy carrying Governor Wahidullah Kalimzai, police chief Brig. Gen. Abdul Habib Syedkhel, provincial council chief Jamaluddin Syar and other officials came under attack in Manogi district.
