KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Intelligence officials shot dead one militant and injured another after their patrol came under attack in southern Kandahar province on Friday.
The National Directorate of Security (NDS) operatives were on a patrol when two motorcyclists opened fire at them using pistols at around 11am, injuring one intelligence official, Kandahar police spokesman Zia Durrani told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said the incident took place in Qazi Ghulam Dahni area of the 3rd municipal district in Kandahar City.
