PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Local officials on Monday said land grabbers had created serious security problems in central Logar province.
Governor Mohammad Halim Fidai told Pajhwok Afghan News a number of powerful individuals had encroached on thousands of acres of land in the province during the past 14 years.
He said the land grabbers were creating security problems in order to protect their own interests.
“Land grabbers are more dangerous than militants, they are involved in most of security incidents that happened in the recent days,” he added.
