ASADABAD (Pajhwok): Two children were killed as a result of a warhead blast of a shell in eastern Kunar province, an official said on Wednesday.
The incident took place in Manogi district on Tuesday evening when the shell a boy and his sister were playing with exploded.
Brig. Gen. Abdul Habib Syedkhel, the provincial police chief, told Pajhowk Afghan News the victims were five and seven years of age.
