Would-be suicide bomber detained in Laghman

The spy service said in a statement that the alleged suicide bomber was detained with his suicide vest full of explosives with Laghman residents’ support.

The statement claimed the bomber wanted to target a crowd of people in Mehtarlam city, the capital of Laghman province, but he was detained before reaching his target.

Local officials and militants have so far not commented about the detention.
