LASHKARGH (Pajhwok): Boarders and Tribal Affairs Minister Gulab Mangal on Friday arrived in southern Helmand province to seek the supporter of tribal elders for the security of Turkmenistan, Afghanistan Indian (TAPI) gas pipeline and country’s borders.
Mangal said work over the 1,735 kilometres long gas pipeline had been started in Turkmenistan and would be launched soon in Afghanistan. He said the purpose of his visit to Helmand was to talk to the local elders for the security of the vital pipeline.
