AIBAK (Pajhwok): A large number of people on Saturday staged a protest demonstration against the killing of a young man allegedly by gunmen loyal to an illegal tribal militia commander in northern Samangan province.
The illegal commander, Abdul Manan, along with his gunmen laid siege to the house of 22-year-old Shahabuddin in Tasma village on the outskirts of Aibak, the provincial capital, and shot the young man dead in front of his family members on Friday, alleged one of the protestors, Haji Khosh Murad.
