SIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): A young woman has allegedly committed suicide in northern Jawzjan province, taking to 22 the number of women claiming their own lives in the province this year, an official said.
Mohammad Raza Ghafoori, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the 24-year-old woman hanged herself to death with her shawl inside her house at a time when her other family members were busy doing household chores.
