FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): Five Taliban militants were killed and 10 others wounded during clashes with security forces in Baharak district of northeastern Badakhshan province, while the rebels claimed killing 17 Afghan Local Police (ALP) personnel.
The governor’s spokesman, Ahmad Navid Frotan, told Pajhwok Afghan News another four militants were captured alive after they attacked security posts in Yardar area of Baharak district late on Wednesday.
