GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Ghazni police chief Brig. Gen. Aminullah Amarkhel on Sunday warned of quitting his post if the Ministry of Interior (MoI) did not address security threats in the restive southern province.
Amarkhel assailed the ministry for reducing the number of police personnel in some areas and converted the battalion of security forces into a group.He claimed the move had created a security vacuum in Ghazni, where militants could step up attacks.
