PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Three suspects have been detained in connection with the murder of a woman in central Logar province, an official said on Wednesday.
Logar crime branch police chief Waisuddin Talash told Pajhwok Afghan News the woman from Padkhab Shana locality of Pul-i-Alam, the provincial capital, died in a hospital in February after her husband severely beat her.
After her demise, her husband and his brothers and father fled into hiding to escape justice, he said.
