Girl’s body found in Pul-i-Alam, sent to Kabul

PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): The body of a girl has been discovered by police in central Logar province, officials said on Thursday.

Logar crime branch chief, Col. Waisuddin Talash, told Pajhwok Afghan News the corpse was found near Mirabdal Mountains in Pul-i-Alam, the provincial capital.

Putting on black boots, a coat and sunglasses, the girl had been brought from Kabul by a Logar resident on March 3, the police officer said.

Col. Talash alleged illicit relations between the pair, saying the boy shot dead the girl near the mountain after a verbal dispute.

The killer,arrested by police, is under interrogation in Kabul. The corpse has also been transported to Kabul for a forensic investigation.
