MAIMANA (Pajhwok): A child has been killed and five others including a public uprising leader wounded in three separate incidents in northwestern Faryab province, officials said on Monday.
Provincial police chief spokesman 2nd Lt. Karim Yoursh told Pajhwok Afghan News two children and their mother were injured when a grenade went off inside their home in Din Tash area of Qaisar district.
He said the district was under Taliban control and the wounded had been evacuated to the provincial hospital in Maimana. He had no further details . . .
