7 passengers lose lives as cars collide in Balkh

MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): At least seven passengers were killed and another nine injured in a traffic accident in northern Balkh province on Thursday, an official said.

Director of Mazar-i-Sharif HospitalDr. Noor Mohammad Fayyaz told Pajhwok Afghan News the collision occurred at 1.pm when a car en route to Mazar-i-Sharif from Sholgara crashed into another.

He said two women and five children were killed on the spot. Several other children and women were wounded, some of them critically.
