The governor said it was the first ever and a huge park established in the province.
The recreational park on hundreds of acres of land in the Mir Abdal hillside is joint venture of the governor’s office and staff of 52 government agencies.
“Tourists will come to this park from Kabul, Paktia, Khost and Logar provinces for picnics and spend holidays,” he said.
The governor said each government entity was responsible to maintain the beauty and plants at the park, calling on the Afghans to be united for rehabilitation of the country and protection national assets.
