SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): Militants shot dead three persons over what an official said on Tuesday “supporting the government and in connection with a murder” in northern Jawzjan province.
Jawzjan police chief Brig. Gen. Rahmatullah Turkistani told Pajhwok Afghan News that Taliban militants accused Khairullah, a resident of Mangajak district, of supporting the government and killed him on Monday night.
He said the slain man had been part of a local uprising two years ago, but he did not cooperate with government forces at the time of his murder . . .
