JALALABAD (Pajhwok): United Nations (UN) secretary general’s special deputy representative for Afghanistan’s body would help reconstruct damaged hospital and school buildings in conflict-hit areas of eastern Nangrahar province.
The envoy made the pledge during a meeting with Governor Salim Khan Kunduzi here. UNAMA provincial chief and heads of RCO, OHCHR, UNMAS, FAO, UNDP, UNCTAD, UNOPS, WFP, UNODC, UN women, IOM, UNHCR, UN Habitat, UNFPA, UNESCO were also present at the meeting.
