LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): The provincial council chief on Wednesday said southern Helmand province would continue to face security problems until its leadership was changed.
Karim Khan Atal told a press conference in Lashkargah, the provincial capital, that security organs lacked coordination in Helmand and security officials were busy in personal affairs.
He said enough security forces and military gear were available in the province, but it was mismanagement that had plunged Helmand into multiple security issues.
