TALOQAN (Pajhwok): The authorities in northern Takhar province on Sunday accused the Taliban militants of killing a woman for government spying.
Takhar Governor Yasin Zia told reporters here that the 25-year-old was taken away from her home, tried in a Taliban court and shot to death in Norkhel area of Darqad district last night.
“Her name was Dorkhu and she was the wife of a public order police officer. The Taliban took her with them last night and killed her,” the governor said.
