TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): Nearly a dozen security check-posts have fallen to Taliban in the Gizab district of central Uruzgan province, with policemen managing to escape to neighboring Daikundi, a source said on Tuesday.
A security official with knowledge of the unsettling development confided to Pajhwok Afghan News that dozens of insurgents staged brazen attacks on security check-posts in the area last night.
