KABUL (Pajhwok): Ministry of Finance’s customs department personnel have detained a man and a woman at the Hamid Karzai International Airport in central capital Kabul over smuggling drugs to Saudi Arabia, the ministry said on Thursday.
A statement from the Finance Ministry said the man and the woman were destined for Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah.
The two were detained by customs officials during a search. The man carried 1,114 grams of drugs in his bag and the woman 1,052 grams of heroin . . .
