KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): A number of residents of northeastern Kunduz province on Sunday complained of electricity load-shedding and low voltage during the holy month of Ramadan.
A provincial council member, Amaruddin Wali, told Pajhwok Afghan News residential buildings were provided electricity for extra hours during the holy month, but it was useless due to low voltage.
“The reason for low voltage is that the Breshn Shirkat (power utility) supplies more power to ice factories during Ramadan,” he added.
