JALALABAD (Pajhwok): A would be suicide bomber was shot dead by security forces before reaching to the target in Kot district of eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Friday.
Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the bomber wanted to blow up Afghan Local Police (ALP) forces post in Janjal Ghondi area early this morning.
He said the suicide bomber was shot dead by security official before detonating explosives around his body.
