CHARIKAR, have been detained over their alleged involvement in destructive activities in central Parwan province.
Parwan police chief Brig. Gen. Mohammad Zaman Mamozai told Pajhwok Afghan News the seven were arrested by security forces based on a tip-off from a house in Qala Khwaja area of Bagram district early on Sunday morning.
He said the detainees included Hashmatullah, owner of the house, Noor Mohammad, Raz Mohammad, Nasratullah, Wahidullah, Abdul Qadir and Azizullah.
Azizullah, an officer of the special security forces unit and a resident of Anchoi village of Sayedkhel district, is also accused of destructive activities.
The six others are residents of Parwan capital, Charikar, and Bagram and Sayedkhel districts, according to Mamozai, who said Hashmatullah and Abdul Qadir had recently been released from Bagram jail.
