SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): A would-be suicide, who was after First Vice-President Gen. Abdul Rashid Dostum to assassinate him during Eid days, has been arrested in northwestern Jawzjan province, local officials said on Thursday.
Jawzjan Governor Maulvi Lotfullah Azizi told Pajhwok Afghan News that the would-be suicide bomber was captured in Shiberrghan City, the provincial capital, on Wednesday evening.
“This person intended to kill Gen. Dostum during Eid days, but failed, he was detained by Afghan forces when he tried to go out of Shiberghan City . . .
