SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): Security personnel besieged by the Taliban for the last three days were rescued on Sunday in Qushtepa district of northern Jawzjan province, a public representative said.
The trapped security forces had requested the ministries of defence and interior to send them food and other supplies as they had run out of the supplies after being besieged for three days, said Mohammad Halima Sadaf, a member of the provincial council.
Without going into details, she said some security forces had suffered casualties during Sunday’s fighting . . .
