SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): A group of 35 militants and their families have joined the reconciliation process in northern Jawzjan province, asked the government to provide them basic facilities.
Headed by Mullah Tahir and Malem Khan, the group fuelled the insurgency in the Dasht-i-Lali area of Faryab province. It, however, renounced violence and surrendered weapons in their possession.
They urged the government to arm them for fighting against the individuals who promoted Pakistan.
