GARDEZ (Pajhwok): Thirty Taliban have been killed and five security forces wounded during an overnight clash in the Ahmadkhelo district of southeastern Paktia province, an official said on Thursday.
Deputy Police Chief Col. Mohammad Yaqub told Pajhwok Afghan News the Taliban assailants stormed security forces mini base in the Tarkani locality Wednesday night and the clash was continued until early morning on Thursday.
Security forces launched clearing operation in the area to hunt the insurgents down after the clash was ended . . .
