KANDAHAR (Pajhwok): Three women have died and 97 other people sustained injuries in traffic accidents during Eidul Azha holidays in southern Kandahar province, an official said on Saturday.
Most of the victims were women and children, said Samim Khpalwak, the governor’s spokesman. He told Pajhwok Afghan News the accidents took place in Kandahar City, the provincial capital, and districts.
He said the injured included 51 adults and 46 children.
