JALALABAD (Pajhwok): At least 13 Taliban militants have been killed in separate incidents in eastern Nangarhar and central Kapisa provinces, officials said on Monday.
Nangarhar governor’s spokesman, Attaullah Khogyani, told Pajhwok Afghan News 11 militants were killed in an airstrike in Khato and Kandaw villages of Shirzad district.
He said a large quantity of ammunition belonging to the militants was also destroyed in the raid on Sunday night. Security forces and civilians suffered no casualties, he said.
