KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Interior on Monday said the community police were being strengthened in order to increase liaison between police and people and reduce terrorist and criminal activities.
According to the Interior Ministry, the community police, created seven years ago, are currently operating in all provinces of the country.
The ministry has cited attracting people’s support, resolving local disputes, implementing laws through consultations, narrowing the gap between people and police and strengthening cooperation with people as main objectives behind the community police creation . . .
