ASADABAD (Pajhwok): Local officials on Tuesday said dozens of militants suffered casualties during clashes with security forces in two days in different districts of eastern Kunar province.
Some civilians and Afghan forces also suffered casualties during the clashes triggered by Taliban attacks on the provincial capital, Asadabad, and Sarkan, Manogi, Watapur and Dangam districts, the governor said.
