JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Six people have been arrested over selling toy guns and fireworks in the capital of eastern Nangarhar province, the provincial police chief said on Saturday.
Brig. Gen. Sayed Gul Agha Rohani told a press conference here that using toy guns and firecrackers in joyous ceremonies created chaos. He said firecrackers being used on celebratory occasions bothered and annoyed other people.
This was the reason that the use, sale and purchase of toy guns and fireworks had been banned and arrest warrants issued for violators, he added.
