QALAT (Pajhwok): Four people were killed and another injured in a traffic accident on Kabul-Kandahar highway in southern Zabul province on Wednesday, an official said.
Provincial traffic department director Col. Abdul Ahad told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in Ghash-i-Menar locality of Shar-I-Safa district of the province when a Corolla model car crashed into a 303 model passenger bus today afternoon.
He said four people were killed and another injured in the accident. All the victims and injured were passengers of the Corolla car, he added.
Abdul Ahad linked the accident to negligence of drivers and bad road condition.
Thousands of passengers lose their lives in traffic accidents on Kabul-Kandahar highway every year.
