KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghan National Border Police (ANBP) has captured over nine tones of Ammonium Nitrate in Torkham dry-port of eastern Nangarhar province, a statement from the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said on Sunday.
The substance commonly used to make Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) was recovered from a Pakistani truck entering to Afghanistan on Saturday evening, the statement said.
The driver of the truck was taken into police custody.
