KUNDUZ (Pajhwok): A suicide bomber died on Tuesday when he detonated his explosives-filled vest before reaching target in northern Kunduz province, an official said.
Police chief Brig. Gen. Qasim Jangal Bagh told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in Kunduz City, the provincial capital, near a Kabul Bank’s branch at around 1:40pm.
He added the bomber wanted to enter the bank branch but he detonated his suicide vest as soon as security forces identified him.
The blast injured four civilians . . .
