MAZAR-i-SHARIF (Pajhwok): Journalists in northern Balkh province on Wednesday announced a boycott of the Journalists Safety and Protection Committee.
They said three journalists from the same province were being named as members of the committee, but the Journalists Federation in Kabul had imposed three other journalists on them.
Local journalists two weeks ago named three persons --- Mubina Khair Andesh, Zabihullah Ihsas and Zabihullah Askarzada --- as members of the safety committee in Balkh.
