BAMYAN (Pajhwok): The Afghan government has agreed with international experts on reassembling one of the two destroyed Buddha statues in central Bamyan province, the provincial governor said on Sunday.
Mohammad Tahir Zaheer, who returned from an international meeting in Germany, told reporters here that the meeting that recently took place was attended by representatives from Afghanistan, Germany, South Korea, Japan, Italy and UNESCO.
