JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Local public health officials on Monday said no positive polio case has been recorded in eastern Nangarhar province during the past 14 months.
Nangarhar public health director, Dr. Najibullah Kamawal, said this while launching an anti-polio campaign in Jalalabad, the provincial capital.
He said more than 650,000 children would be vaccinated in Nangarhar and about a million children in the eastern zone during the three-day campaign.
The general situation in eastern provinces, particularly Nangarhar, was good compared to last year . . .
