LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) officials on Tuesday said the construction of a cricket stadium would begin soon in southern Helmand province.
ACB chiefShukrullah Atif Mashal, in an exclusive interview with Pajhwok Afghan News, said a contract for the playground had been signed and funds for the project would be allocated soon.
Funds for the construction of the playground would be paid by the Ministry of Counternarcotics, he said, adding work on the stadium would begin in the near future.
