PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): One person was killed and another wounded on Sunday evening when protesting residents clashed with police in northern Baghlan province.
The residents of Baraka district were protesting against the district police chief. One civilian was killed and another injured after the demonstration turned violent.
The protestors had gathered in Sharshar locality of the district, accusing the police chief of incompetency and asking local and central governments to address their complaint.
