KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): The newly-appointed police chief for northeastern Kunduz province on Wednesday underlined the need for reforms in the force to improvethe security situation.
Brig. Gen. Abdul Hameed Hameedi, in an exclusive interview with Pajhwok Afghan News, said some issues needed greater attention to beef up security in the provincial capital and districts.
“First, we should bring reforms to the police force and then mobilise people to improvethe security situation. Public cooperation is vital to improving the situation,” he argued.
